Job Summary:

Jardeg-Construction is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson to join our team. As an Instrumentation Tech, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and calibrating valves, switches, and measurement devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and test valves, switches, and measurement devices
  • Work with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing instruments to measure and control variables
  • Experience with tube bending using various sizes of tube benders

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Instrumentation and Controls Technician (I&C/I&E) certification
  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Instrumentation Tech in a heavy industrial or construction setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used as an Instrumentation Tech
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders

Minimum Requirements:

  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry & Monitor
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection
  • Basic Rigging Certification
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • Background check may be required depending on scope work

  • Aerial Work Platform
  • First Aid
  • WHMIS
