About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team at RTJ Landscaping as a Landscape Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our team to build and install outdoor features such as patios, walkways, and gardens.
  • Tie and Secure Plants: Ensure that plants and trees are properly secured to prevent damage or loss.
  • Weed, Prune and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the health and appearance of our clients' outdoor spaces by removing weeds, pruning trees and plants, and trimming hedges.
  • Cut Grass: Operate lawn mowers and other equipment to maintain the appearance of our clients' lawns.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Remove debris and litter from our clients' outdoor spaces.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Ensure that our clients' outdoor spaces are free from trash and debris.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the installation of new plants, trees, and other outdoor features.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Install new lawns and gardens.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs and Trees: Install new plants and trees in our clients' outdoor spaces.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Maintain the health of our clients' outdoor spaces by applying fertilizers as needed.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns and/or Gardens: Ensure that our clients' outdoor spaces are properly watered and maintained.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Operate and maintain equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Tree Removal: Remove trees and branches from our clients' outdoor spaces.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Maintenance Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Working Conditions

As a Landscape Maintenance Specialist, you will be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be handling heavy loads and working in a physically demanding environment.
