Job Title: Landscape Worker

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Worker to join our team at RTJ Landscaping. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly anchored and secure.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns to ensure they are well-manicured and healthy.
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and other debris.
  • Remove litter and garbage from outdoor spaces.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed to maintain the health and appearance of lawns.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as needed.
Work Environment:

As a Landscape Worker, you will work outdoors in a variety of environments, including parks, gardens, and other outdoor spaces. You will be exposed to the elements, including sun, rain, and extreme temperatures.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
