Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, maintaining gardens and outdoor spaces, and performing various tasks related to landscaping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landscape Constructions: Assist with the construction of new landscapes, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, and laying sod or seed.
  • Garden Maintenance: Maintain gardens and outdoor spaces, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, and watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
  • Refuse Removal: Remove litter and garbage from outdoor areas, and rake and collect refuse.
  • Task Variety: Perform a variety of tasks related to landscaping, including tree removal, fertilizing, and applying other treatments to plants and lawns.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Maintenance Worker with RTJ Landscaping, you will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be exposed to various weather conditions, including wet, damp, hot, and noisy conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
