Salary Information


The estimated annual salary for this position is between $40,000 and $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications.



Job Description


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at BrightPath Kids Canada. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our RECEs (Registered Early Childhood Educators) in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.


Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Assisting RECEs with instruction in the classroom
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Encouraging children's involvement in activities and promoting their overall well-being
  • Building relationships with coworkers, management, and families
  • Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of classroom materials
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:



  • High School/Equivalent required, Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred
  • Meet province requirement for childcare employment
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
  • Current immunization and health assessment as per local Minister of Health Requirements
  • Experience in planning and implementing programs
