Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Childventures Early Learning Academy Inc. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our preschool program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Co-Workers: Support housekeeping and cooking duties, maintaining a clean and organized environment for our children.
  • Maintain Daycare Equipment: Ensure all equipment is in good working condition, promoting a safe and healthy environment.
  • Support Early Childhood Educators: Assist in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in keeping accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Encourage Creativity: Engage children in activities that promote creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Storytelling and Crafts: Engage children in storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts that promote learning and development.
  • Guidance and Support: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Snack Preparation: Prepare healthy snacks for our children, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses are paid by the employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as manual dexterity.
  • Personal Suitability: We are looking for a punctual, dependable, and efficient individual with excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
