We are seeking a highly skilled Data Administration Specialist to join our team at Visionpool. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our ETL processes.
Responsibilities- Implement procedures to maintain, monitor, backup and recover operations for the ETL environment.
- Report regularly on the health and performance of the ETL environment and jobs.
- Conduct ETL optimization, troubleshooting and debugging.
- Perform import and export ETL jobs across various ETL projects and servers.
- Collaborate with data warehouse admins and ETL developers to implement ETL solutions and fixes.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum 5 years of DB experience and a strong SQL background.
- Experience with AWS Glue and Spark is preferred.
- The ability to work independently with little direct supervision in the administration of ETL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
