About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Administration Specialist to join our team at Visionpool. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our ETL processes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement procedures to maintain, monitor, backup and recover operations for the ETL environment.
  • Report regularly on the health and performance of the ETL environment and jobs.
  • Conduct ETL optimization, troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Perform import and export ETL jobs across various ETL projects and servers.
  • Collaborate with data warehouse admins and ETL developers to implement ETL solutions and fixes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 5 years of DB experience and a strong SQL background.
  • Experience with AWS Glue and Spark is preferred.
  • The ability to work independently with little direct supervision in the administration of ETL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
