Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at CANADA INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
- Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
- Evaluate daily operations and make adjustments as needed
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
- Plan and organize daily operations, including setting staff work schedules and supervising staff
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
- Cost products and services and ensure that they are in line with the restaurant's budget
- Organize and maintain inventory and ensure that it is up to date
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Leading/instructing individuals and ensuring that they are trained and equipped to perform their duties
- Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service
- Manage events and ensure that they are well planned and executed
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in a restaurant management role
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
