We are seeking a skilled Store Front Operations Leader to join our team at Michaels, a leading arts and crafts retailer.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by managing front-end operations, leading omnichannel processes, and maintaining store recovery standards. This includes ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs, achieving KPIs, and managing the customer experience team.

This role requires a strong leader who can plan and execute class and in-store events, manage shrink and safety programs, and participate in performance management processes. The ideal candidate will have retail management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain standing for long periods of time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage front-end operations, including customer service, inventory processes, and cash reconciliation.
  • Lead omnichannel processes, including online ordering and pickup.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and Company programs.
  • Achieve KPIs and manage the customer experience team.
  • Plan and execute class and in-store events.
  • Manage shrink and safety programs.
Requirements
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Physical ability to move throughout the store and lift heavy boxes.
