We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Associate to join our team at the Newmarket Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with room assignments, key card programming, and other front office tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
