Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our Indigenous Peoples Talent Acquisition team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and developing Indigenous talent for various roles within Technology, Infrastructure & Innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain Indigenous talent, including partnerships with Indigenous organizations and communities.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and develop job opportunities that align with Indigenous talent acquisition goals.
  • Source and recruit Indigenous candidates for various roles, including Technology, Infrastructure & Innovation.
  • Provide guidance and support to Indigenous employees to help them succeed in their roles and advance their careers.
  • Contribute to the development of diversity and inclusion initiatives that promote a culture of belonging and inclusion within CIBC.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures and communities, with a proven track record of working with Indigenous organizations and individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
