About the Role

Metrics Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Lead Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of multiple pharmacies in Alberta and British Columbia. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless medication management and dispensing processes.
  • Supervise and guide a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient information and pharmacy operations.
  • Collaborate with customers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
  • Active ACP license in good standing.
  • APA certification preferred.
  • Valid CPR certification for Alberta.
  • ISTM certification an asset.
  • Authorization to administer drugs by injection an asset.

Experience & Skills

  • At least three years of experience in retail pharmacy, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Strong ability to meet regulatory compliance standards.
  • Excellent organizational and operational management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of medication management and patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in managing pharmacy inventory and financial operations.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
