Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ascent Coffee Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our café, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient food preparation.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help staff improve their skills and knowledge, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints, resolving issues and ensuring that customers leave satisfied.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English or French.
