About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at SANGAM CATERING LTD. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Staff Management: Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and be able to maintain high standards.
  • Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operation of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
