Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and ensure that all food is stored and handled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that all customer feedback is documented and acted upon.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and will be exposed to a variety of temperatures and environments.
