About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Cha Xpress. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that our inventory is always well-stocked and that our menu items are consistently available.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of our establishment's culinary genres and be able to supervise and check the assembly of trays.
  • Leadership: Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 3-4 people.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Cha Xpress, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that our customers receive exceptional service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a food service supervisory role is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
