Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2435580 Alberta Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and effective service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
