Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ascent Coffee Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality in our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting their full potential.
  • Quality Control: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in our café.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English or French.
