Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of strategic human resources practices and processes within the business
  • Partner with management to implement change management and HR solutions in support of business strategies and initiatives
  • Develop, revise, implement, and administer human resource programs, policies, practices, and procedures that improve business performance and ensure compliance, consistency, and equity
  • Partner with management and area managers to create and implement employee development programs to grow the talent of the organization
  • Oversee recruitment processes from job posting to onboarding, ensuring alignment with staffing needs and company goals
  • Responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing training and organizational development initiatives that strengthen the effectiveness of staff, leadership, and organization performance
  • Ensure compliance with various legal requirements relating to employment law, health and safety, and insurance, as well as policies and procedures
  • Coach managers in employment-related issues, including human resource planning, performance management, and discipline
  • Drive HR initiatives and projects to improve efficiency, employee engagement, and business performance
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in human resources management or relevant field
  • Proven experience as an HR manager in an industrial environment
  • Demonstrated change management capabilities and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with management and employees
  • In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to keep key stakeholders informed, make presentations, and facilitate training

This position reports to the VP Human Resources.
