We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team at Sodexo Canada Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the Campus and Universities sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute targeted account development strategies to grow new business revenue in the Campus and Universities sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the sector, including C-suite stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound outreach, phone, email, social media, and other digital applications.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Inside Sales, and Proposal teams to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Travel up to 40% of the time across Western Canada to meet with clients and stakeholders.
- 5-7 years of experience selling to C-suite stakeholders in the food services, facilities management, or property management sectors.
- Experience in building trusted partnerships with Indigenous partners is an asset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to negotiate complex contracts.
- Proficiency in understanding financial operating statements and preparing proformas.
- Bilingual in French and English is a strong asset.
