About the Role:
The University of Toronto is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Housing Services Team as an Occupancy and Admissions Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring the residence admissions process operates effectively and efficiently, with a focus on housing applications and accurate management of student records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed information on eligibility requirements, procedures, and deadlines to applicants
- Review and assess student applications for admission into residential accommodations
- Coordinate room assignments and room changes throughout the year
- Analyze data to maximize residence occupancy and make recommendations to improve processes
- Liaise with colleagues to encourage the use of best practices and consistent programming
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of two years of related experience
- Experience with database management and intermediate spreadsheet skills
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Superior organizational skills and excellent customer service skills
