About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the University Health Network. The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team primarily within neurology, mental health, and/or MSK specialty programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to clients with work-related injuries, chronic pain, and other conditions.
- Develop and implement return-to-work plans in collaboration with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to promote client independence and functional ability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- University degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong clinical skills, with experience in treating acute and chronic conditions.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and service excellence skills.
