About the Role:
The Department of Student Housing and Residence Life at the University of Toronto is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Occupancy and Admissions Coordinator. As a key member of the Housing Services Team, this position is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the residence admissions process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed information on eligibility requirements, procedures, and deadlines to applicants
- Review and assess student applications for admission into residential accommodations
- Coordinate room assignments and room changes throughout the year
- Analyze data to maximize residence occupancy and make recommendations to improve the admissions process
- Liaise with colleagues to encourage the use of best practices and consistent programming
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of two years of related experience
- Experience with database management and intermediate spreadsheet skills
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Superior organizational skills and excellent customer service skills
