About the Role:

The Department of Student Housing and Residence Life at the University of Toronto is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Occupancy and Admissions Coordinator. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the residence admissions process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed information on eligibility requirements, procedures, and deadlines to applicants
  • Review and assess student applications for admission into residential accommodations
  • Coordinate room assignments and room changes throughout the year
  • Analyze data to maximize residence occupancy and make recommendations for improvement
  • Liaise with colleagues to encourage the use of best practices and consistent programming

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of two years of related experience
  • Experience with database management and intermediate spreadsheet skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Superior organizational skills and excellent customer service skills
