As an Associate Technician at EssilorLuxottica, you will play a crucial role in inspecting and assembling lenses for AR treatments, adhering to established procedures and production standards.

The job requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a dynamic production environment. You must be able to meet measurable standards and adapt to changes in the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vacuum equipment according to checklists and ensure optimal operating conditions for the coating machine.
  • Sort lenses based on SOPs for necessary coating applications.
  • Follow SOPs for coating processes, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Clean, mount, and prepare lens batches using high-intensity lamps.
  • Load lenses and materials for evaporation, maintaining a continuous flow.
  • Monitor and operate the vacuum machine within standard times.
  • Communicate equipment operating conditions and process updates to supervisors.
  • Unload vacuum-coated lenses for downloading stations.
  • Perform spectro-analysis on every batch using SMR systems.

Requirements:

  • Job experience may substitute high school diplomas or GEDs.
  • Proficient English skills (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Manufacturing experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to meet measurable standards in a dynamic production environment.
  • Depth perception, fine motor skills, and manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Autonomy and teamwork skills.
  • Manual dexterity and timeliness.
  • Must walk/stand for the full shift duration.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and perform repetitive movements.
  • Must regularly lift 10 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
