We're seeking an experienced Payroll Associate Lead to join our team in the Toronto office. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring all associated payroll reporting requirements are completed within strict timelines while adhering to established payroll processes.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and processing end-to-end bi-weekly payroll for all stores/branches/corporate office as assigned; calculating changes, balancing, and posting- verifying payroll.
  • Overseeing the payroll shared mailbox and responding to inquiries within pre-defined SLAs.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to payroll processes, ensuring ongoing certification of internal controls, including preparation and distribution of key reports for approval and exercising diligence around approvals.
  • Preparing and maintaining standard and ad-hoc reports, queries, and conducting appropriate audits to ensure data integrity.

This role requires a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in processing full-cycle payroll. Previous experience on UKG Pro/Ultipro, Workday, SAP, SAAS, pay@work, or people@work is an asset. Flexibility to work hours to meet payroll deadlines is essential.
