As a key member of TD's audit team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank's risk management and operational performance.

About the Role

This Senior Audit Group Manager position requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in auditing, strategic planning, and leadership. You will lead a team of audit professionals in supervising, planning, and executing complex audits and projects for multiple business groups.

Your expertise will be invaluable in providing thought leadership and facilitating key strategic audit discussions with executives. You will also be responsible for building new relationships with key enterprise partners and gaining a deeper understanding of our processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the lead audit advisor, guiding senior leadership on emerging trends and issues to drive meaningful improvements.
  • Identify, mitigate, and report on risk issues according to guidelines, ensuring appropriate escalation processes are followed.
  • Develop and implement strategies that integrate with the overall audit strategy, leading enterprise initiatives to provide guidance on complex situations.
  • Lead audit engagement work activities to ensure adequate risk coverage, developing the divisional annual plan for the risk assessment process.
  • Provide recommendations and decision support to leadership, handling the facilitation and implementation of internal audit remediation plans to address performance, risk, and governance issues.
  • Be a strategic advisor to leadership on portfolio management and financials, leveraging deep industry and enterprise knowledge.
  • Connect with key stakeholders to prioritize portfolios after forecasting initiatives and demand, ensuring messages align with business strategies and executive management direction.
  • Lead the team in developing and implementing policies, processes, procedures, and changes across multiple audit areas, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and staying knowledgeable on emerging issues and trends.
  • Provide people management leadership, administering performance management activities and providing continuous feedback and training.
About You

We're looking for an exceptional leader with a proven track record in auditing, strategic planning, and leadership. If you have:

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, analytical tools, and Internet applications.
  • A strong negotiator and decision maker who can influence business leaders and make rational choices.

Compensation Package

TD offers a comprehensive compensation package that reflects our commitment to supporting the well-being of our employees and their families. Our global compensation program includes a base salary, variable compensation, and other key benefits such as health and wellness programs, retirement savings plans, paid time off, banking benefits, discounts, career development opportunities, and recognition and reward programs.

The estimated salary range for this role is $108,800 - $163,200 CAD per year, based on location and experience.
