Job Title: Sales Representative – Commercial HVAC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Startec Compression & Process and Startec Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing HVAC service, maintenance, retrofits, and contract agreements with new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business within key product offerings

• Utilize proven sales methods to identify and solicit potential clients

• Prepare estimates, including parts and equipment sourcing

• Delivery of Startec quotations and proposals for new and renewal of service agreements

• Logs and records all sales opportunities within the CRM system

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Technologist, EIT, HVAC Technician or equivalent experience in commercial HVAC service

• Minimum of 3+ years of work experience in a trade role and/or 3 - 5 years of sales experience

• Proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role in the commercial HVAC industry

• In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, components, and applications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills

• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
