Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone and over the counter. This role requires excellent customer service skills, knowledge of HVAC systems, and the ability to process orders, quotes, credits, and back orders on the computer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Answer customer calls and identify parts.
  • Make customers aware of product promotions.
  • Load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Receive and process customer orders.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by recording quantities used and determining supplies needed.
  • Inform customers of standard procedures or resolution of problem.
  • Determine best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and company adherence to policies.
  • Practice safe material handling techniques.
  • Generate invoices for counter sales orders.
  • Participate in a call schedule for after-hours customer service.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Understanding of effective selling methods.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • Working knowledge of order processing, quotes, credits, and back orders on the computer.
  • Basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
  • Energetic and self-motivated.
  • Maintain a business-like manner at all times.
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
