Job Opportunity

Daikin Applied is seeking a skilled Service & Solutions Account Manager to develop and maintain customer relationships, sell preventative maintenance contracts, and provide recommendations for service and repair work for HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the parts team, and technicians to meet sales goals.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and build customer relationships.
  • Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations.
  • Perform tests and conduct surveys on competitive products to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products.
  • Prepare reports of pipeline, sales activity, and business plans.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of related sales experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence the market.
  • Ability to travel territory daily.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • HVAC industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software.
  • Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts.
  • Commercial HVAC industry experience.
