Your Role:

The Senior Windows Infrastructure Administrator plays a crucial role within the Operations team, collaborating closely with System Administrators, Desktop Support, Security, and Cyber Security teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee corporate Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for internal and client-facing deployments.
  • Design, implement, and enforce desktop management policies to secure workstations, apply group policies, and facilitate software deployment.
  • Maintain and update documentation, creating new procedures while detailing configurations for Exchange and Active Directory.
  • Provide timely and high-quality incident resolution, conducting post-incident analyses to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop proactive support strategies to minimize incidents, enhance system availability, and expedite deployments.
  • Respond promptly to support and operations requests related to Exchange, Active Directory, or other Windows Server issues.
  • Ensure optimal service availability across all Windows systems.
  • Adhere to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery protocols for corporate services.

About You:

  • At least 5 years of direct experience with Microsoft Exchange and a minimum of 10 years in IT administration and advanced support.
  • Expertise in technology infrastructure design, implementation, and management, including Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, MDT, and SCCM.
  • Proficient in monitoring, testing, and analyzing system performance to ensure maximum efficiency and availability.
  • Skilled in assessing system usage and planning for growth or capacity increases.
  • Adept at identifying and resolving performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange, including mailbox server failover and cluster management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPO management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange PowerShell commands for managing Exchange features and troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office applications, including Project and Visio, with knowledge of Outlook configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and document processes effectively.
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative.
  • Resourceful problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of IP phone systems is a plus.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft MCSA, A+, or MTA are advantageous.
