Job Overview

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our clients' IT environments, ensuring seamless operations, and providing world-class customer service. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, managing IT infrastructure, and working closely with our clients to meet their unique business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. IT Infrastructure Management
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain clients' IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud solutions, and security systems.
Technical Leadership
  • Provide technical leadership and support for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across client environments.
System Availability and Performance
  • Ensure system availability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Backup and Disaster Recovery
  • Implement, configure, and manage enterprise-level backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions.
Procedure Development
  • Develop and document procedures, policies, and best practices for the effective operation and maintenance of IT systems.
Client Collaboration
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored IT solutions and recommendations.
IT Project Management
  • Lead IT projects, including network upgrades, server migrations, and cloud implementations.
Mentorship and Guidance
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members.
Technology Staying Current
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve service delivery.

Qualifications

  1. Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, preferably in an MSP environment.
Technical Expertise
  • Expert knowledge in managing Windows Server and Cloud Environments.
Networking Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies (firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs).
Backup and Disaster Recovery
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Security Protocols
  • Proficiency with security protocols, monitoring tools, and cybersecurity best practices.
Problem-Solving Skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Communication Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
Task Management
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications
  • Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent are highly preferred.
