Job Summary

The Pharmacy Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our medications. This includes assisting in the preparation, packaging, and organization of medication deliveries, as well as supporting pharmacists and technicians in maintaining our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare prescriptions for filling via pharmacy software
  • Process, adjudicate, and fill prescriptions
  • Prepare compounds, creams, liquids, and other medications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensure accurate documentation of completed work

Requirements

  • Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
