Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and maintaining accurate records
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and respond to their inquiries
  • Process prescriptions using Kroll Pharmacy software and maintain accurate data
  • Verify customer prescriptions and maintain workflow through effective task prioritization
  • Answer phone calls and respond to internal and external customer inquiries
  • Screen telephone calls for pharmacists and maintain inventory of medications
  • Prepare and process billings, claims, and disbursements
  • Review invoices and maintain pharmacy records
  • Pack and ship prescription orders according to established protocols
  • Report Adverse Events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Pharmacy experience an asset
  • Proficiency in Kroll and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Bilingualism, French/English is an asset
