About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team at GH Precision Products Inc. as a Metal Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components and structures to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Materials Required: Identify and procure the necessary materials for metal fabrication projects.
  • Study Engineering Drawings and Blueprints: Carefully examine and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Assemble and Fit Plates and Sections: Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to form structures, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
  • Operate Heavy-Duty Metal-Working Machines: Safely operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as presses and shears, to fabricate metal components.
  • Install Fabricated Components: Install fabricated metal components into final products, ensuring proper fit and function.
  • Rig, Hoist, and Move Materials: Safely rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Work Site Environment: The work site environment is noisy, dusty, and hot.
  • Work Setting: The work setting is in an urban area.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The role is physically demanding, requiring hand-eye coordination, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and a team player.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and ear plugs are required.
