As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, flame-cutting equipment, and metal shaping machines to produce high-quality metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts together
  • Operate flame-cutting equipment to cut metal to precise specifications
  • Operate metal shaping machines to bend, straighten, and shape metal to meet customer requirements
  • Perform brazing and soldering tasks to bond metal or fill holes and seams
Welding Techniques
  • Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW)
  • Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
  • Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
  • Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
  • Flux core arc welding (FCAW)
  • Plasma arc welding (PAW)
  • Submerged arc welding (SAW)
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
Work Environment
  • 40 hours per week
  • Permanent work term
  • English language required
