About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team at GH Precision Products Inc. as a Metal Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components and structures to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Materials Required: Identify and procure the necessary materials for metal fabrication projects.
  • Study Engineering Drawings and Blueprints: Review and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Assemble and Fit Plates and Sections: Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to form structures, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
  • Operate Heavy-Duty Metal-Working Machines: Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as presses and shears, to fabricate metal components.
  • Install Fabricated Components: Install fabricated metal components into final products, ensuring proper fit and function.
  • Rig, Hoist, and Move Materials: Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence to transport materials and equipment.
  • Physically Demanding: Be physically capable of performing tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all aspects of metal fabrication.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in metal fabrication or a related field is an asset.
  • Organized and Reliable: Demonstrate strong organizational and reliability skills to ensure timely completion of projects.
