Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the R&D team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business strategy and goals.
  • Product Development: Oversee the development of multiple software solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
  • Team Management: Manage and lead a team of engineers and business analysts, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
  • Financial Management: Own and manage the financial aspects of the R&D team, including forecasting, reconciliation, analysis, and actionable insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, integration partners, vendors, and customers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Industry Trends: Continuously evaluate and stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or relevant experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of management experience at the product or people level, with a proven track record of success in leading R&D teams.
  • Skills: Proficient in operational and financial aspects of a software company, with experience in Cloud-based and On-Premise software solutions, Microsoft technology stack, Agile process, and APIs.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and comprehensively to senior executives and technical experts. Strong organization and time-management skills, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
What We're Looking For
  • Background in Healthcare or Healthcare software: A proven track record of success in the healthcare industry or healthcare software development.
  • Additional Technology Stacks: Experience with additional technology stacks, such as Java, C++, or Cobol.
  • Scrum Master Certification: A Scrum Master certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience Operating an R&D P&L: Proven experience operating an R&D P&L, with a strong understanding of financial management and analysis.
