Job Title: Director of Research Administration

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Research Administration to join our team at the University of Ottawa. As a key member of our research administration team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational support for the university's research funding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement research funding strategies to support the university's research priorities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on research funding opportunities and policies
  • Manage and coordinate research funding applications and awards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external funding agencies and sponsors
  • Provide training and support to researchers on research funding policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in research administration, with a focus on funding and grants management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
