Project Manager - Land Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our Land Development projects in Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the design and delivery of land development projects from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design team to establish scope, budget, and schedule for land development projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, project teams, and regulatory agencies to establish design objectives and pursue project approvals.
  • Manage project finances, quality assurance, and quality control processes.
  • Provide technical support to project teams for tendering, contract administration, and construction inspection tasks.
  • Maintain internal project governance standards and keep clients informed of project status.
  • Engage with clients, architects, planners, and other industry leaders to generate awareness of GHD and its capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary (college/university) civil engineering education.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in design and management of land development projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of the core land development design and approval process.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • Working knowledge of the Planning Act and development application processes in Ontario.
  • Professional Engineer (designation is an asset).
