Job Title: Hotel Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Comfort Inn Belleville. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
  • Supervise and manage a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality standards
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and training to staff members
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for the hotel
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on new policies and procedures
  • Negotiate with clients to secure bookings and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and manage budgets to ensure the hotel is operating within its financial means
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to increase occupancy and revenue
  • Implement marketing activities to promote the hotel and its services
  • Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities to ensure the hotel is well-maintained
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and revenue
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are working efficiently
  • Manage events and functions at the hotel to ensure they are successful and well-organized
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the hotel has the necessary supplies and materials
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times
Work Environment:

The Hotel Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 2-3 years of experience in a hotel management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Client focus and customer service skills
