About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Montana's BBQ & Bar North Battleford. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our signature BBQ flavors and exceed guest expectations
    • Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and service
    • Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative dishes and promotions
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety
    • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize kitchen operations
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce food costs and improve profitability
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
    • Participate in menu tastings and feedback sessions to ensure that our dishes meet guest expectations
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
