About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Montana's BBQ & Bar North Battleford. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our signature BBQ flavors and exceed guest expectations.
    • Work closely with our purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory levels.
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
    • Lead by example and maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceed guest expectations.
    • Participate in menu tastings and provide feedback to our culinary team.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
