About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Editorial Content Producer to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our editorial content team, you will be responsible for leading the production of high-quality content for our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the production of English and French content, including videos, podcasts, text, and images, to connect with our audiences and meet business goals.
  • Develop and assign articles to freelancers, craft effective writing assignments, and work with writers to create compelling content.
  • Stay up-to-date on investing trends and develop smart content ideas that resonate with our readership.
  • Collaborate with contributors, compliance, and legal teams to develop impactful content in a timely manner.
  • Fact-check and edit content according to industry standards and style guides.
  • Contribute to the development of content strategies and efficiencies to ensure our content delivers on strategic priorities.
  • Stay current on content and social media developments to inform content creation.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience creating daily content for a digital publication or platform.
  • Strong understanding of how to connect with investors through consistency, tone, and relevancy.
  • Experience in business, investing, and/or personal finance is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow workflows and build approval processes.
  • Technical savvy, with experience working with content management systems, SEO, analytics, and other digital tools.
