Restaurant Operations Manager

East to West Holdings Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of 16-20 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory management of food, beverages, and other supplies to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
- Implement Operational Procedures: Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant, including managing cash handling, point of sale systems, and security protocols.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly review staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve skills and productivity.
- Cost Control and Budgeting: Analyze sales data and manage costs to ensure the restaurant operates within budget, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing strategies to improve profitability.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to complaints and concerns, and taking proactive steps to resolve issues.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, and promoting collaboration and open communication among staff members.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 5 years or more in a restaurant management role, with a proven track record of success in supervising staff, managing inventory, and driving sales growth.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and point of sale systems.
- Security and Safety: Possess a valid criminal record check and be willing to undergo regular security screenings.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient, and a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
