Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jungle Jim's Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff

Direct and oversee the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

Maintain Quality Control Standards

Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Oversee the ordering, storage, and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.

Prepare Reports and Records

Compile and submit reports on kitchen operations, including sales, inventory, and employee performance.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.

Inspect and Maintain Kitchen Areas

Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with Management

Work closely with restaurant management to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.

Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
  • 1-2 Years of Experience in Food Service Supervision
  • Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation Regulations
