Job Title: Industrial Machinery Sales Representative

C.F.R Dorchester inc. is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Machinery Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our industrial equipment and machinery to existing and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs of installing equipment and provide accurate quotes to clients.
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
  • Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements.
  • Identify and solicit potential clients and deliver sales presentations.
  • Prepare and administer sales contracts and use sales forecasting software.
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs.
  • Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services and resolve work problems.
  • Implement marketing activities and make custom designs for clients.
  • Conduct sales calls and identify customers' needs.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in sales or a related field.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Knowledge of programming software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
