This key role involves supporting the recruitment and retention of employees while also providing administrative assistance to the HR team as needed.
The Human Resources Generalist will oversee the approval-to-hire process, working closely with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and craft job descriptions and ads.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating monthly recruitment costs and reports
- Staying current on company policies, personnel procedures, and laws regarding employment practices
The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer skills, including proficiency in HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systems.
A certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field is required, with CPHR considered an asset. French/English bilingualism is preferred but not required.
