Human Resources Advisor

On site – Full Time Position

This role will provide essential HR support across various functions and offers the unique opportunity for cross-training into payroll to provide coverage when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and conflict resolution. Resolve 95% of inquiries within 48 hours.
  • Manage job postings, assist with recruitment, interviews, and smooth new hire on-boarding.
  • Draft offer letters, increases, discipline, and verifications. Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with policies.
  • Cross-train with Payroll learning ADP Payroll software, assisting with payroll runs, time cards, and benefit/pension management.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, assist with digitizing and securely storing files in the HR system.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in Human Resources and/or Payroll.
  • Previous experience in HR, payroll, or an administrative role. Experience with ADP Payroll software is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and management.
