The bigger picture
We are looking for a strategic and collaborative person to come on board as our newest Human Resources Advisor on a 12-month term. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the achievement of business unit goals through various Human Resource practices. As an HR Advisor, you will facilitate and support the execution of work across the organization by actively assisting the leadership team in every aspect of the employee life cycle. Your deep understanding of our cultural practices will allow you to consistently align with strategic objectives while developing creative solutions to enhance the overall employee experience.

How you'll be spending your time

- Supporting the overall business goals of each department within your assigned portfolio through ongoing collaboration and consultation with our leadership team.
- Strategically recruiting top talent to ensure leaders have the right people in place to achieve their objectives.
- Working alongside the leadership team in your assigned portfolio to ensure that all processes are followed, recommendations are well-researched, aligned to Conexus strategy, reflective of our purpose and values, and contribute positively to the desired culture of the organization while mitigating risk.
- Working directly with leaders in your assigned portfolio to identify and address potential employee relations issues in a timely manner to reduce the likelihood of escalation.
- Consulting with and advising our leadership team on performance-related issues, aligning with our corporate values and supporting our business strategy. Coaching and supporting our leaders to ensure fairness to our employees while also protecting our organization from undue risk.
- Providing support and consultation within your assigned portfolio on workforce planning to ensure Conexus' alignment of talent with positions and productivity levels, meeting both current and future business needs.

The experience you bring

- Minimum 5 years' working in Human Resources in a business partner or advisor capacity.
- Relevant post-secondary education and/or CPHR designation.
- Experience influencing business outcomes and working alongside all levels of leadership.
- Knowledge and experience providing consultation on sensitive employee relations issues.
- Thorough understanding of the Saskatchewan Employment Act.

Salary Range: $77,730 - $103,640 with 10% Short Term Incentive Target
